OUR STORY

House of Hetty brings you a range of cool and colourful polymer clay earrings, designed to bring a bit of joy to everyone who wears them. Every pair is handmade by Sam in her attic craft room, with the occasional 'help' from her 9-year-old daughter, Hetty. Think bold colours and dreamy pastels, shapes to fall in love with, and designs inspired by the latest trends.

Sam first started experimenting with polymer clay back in 2016 when she was on maternity leave, and was immediately hooked on seeing what she could make next!

After returning to work, Sam continued with it has a hobby, listing a few of the items she’d made on Etsy, where sales (very) slowly trickled in. Fast-forward to the start of 2020, when Sam had an idea for an earring lucky dip box, which quickly became a bestseller when the world went into lockdown and demand for online shopping and letterbox gifts rapidly increased.

By 2021, Sam was struggling to juggle a corporate job, making earrings, and having family time, so after a lot of persuasion, took the leap and left her job to become self-employed and run House of Hetty full time. More than 4 years later, she’s never looked back and still loves every minute of running her own business.

To date, House of Hetty has achieved more than 12500 sales on Etsy alone, with 5 star reviews and many returning customers. House of Hetty products are also available on Not on the High Street, to wholesales customers through Faire, and in several local and national stores.
